Ian Hitchcock has held diverse roles across multiple therapeutic areas, including positions at leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies where he has honed a deep cross-functional understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and supported and lead the development and delivery innovative products with a large unmet medical need to patients. He earned his MBChB from the University of Cape Town, working initially in primary care and subsequently as a Clinical Fellow in Virology and HIV in London, working closely and commenced his career in pharmaceuticals in 1999.
